Room Design & Home Styling in Dayton, Ohio

With a DIY Design Plan, you will serve as the primary shopper and project manager. I will be available on an unlimited basis to answer any questions, help you make decisions, and review any items you’re considering purchasing.

With a Premium Design Plan, I will serve as the primary shopper and project manager with you fully informed and approving all decisions and purchases. In addition, you will receive and in-home styling session when I will help you set up and style the space.

We will start the project with a Kickoff Meeting.  You and any other decision makers will need to be present to share your goals and preferences for the design. I will need to know what you love and don’t love about your current space along with what problems you would like us to address with the new design. This is your time to let it all out and share all your hopes and dreams so that we can create a plan that knocks your socks off! After that, while we are open to hearing your ideas, we kindly ask that you let us work our magic in putting together a unique design plan for you.

No. We will never force you to discard something. As a part of the project Kickoff Meeting, you will tell us what items you love and would like to continue using in your space. We will create the new design while incorporating the pieces you want to keep.  When we create the new design, we will identify opportunities to purchase second-hand items, if you are interested in doing so.

You are responsible for removing any discarded items from your home.

During the project Kickoff Meeting, you will specify a budget cap or budget range for any new products. After the project Kickoff Meeting, we kindly ask for four weeks to create the design concept along with the floorplan, color palette, shopping list, ballpark budget and step-by-step completion plan. When our work is complete, we will schedule a Design Presentation Meeting in your home.  The design plan can be implemented on your own timeline.

When The Revival Co. creates a design plan for you, you are granted access to our Trade Discounts at 20 home furnishing retailers. Discounts typically range from 10-50 percent off retail prices and sometimes include free shipping.

When trade discounts are utilized, I will purchase the item on your behalf and you will reimburse me. Instead of billing for my time to handle all procurement tasks (including returns), I will charge a flat procurement fee in the amount of 50 percent of the trade discount. 

You are not obligated to purchase items through The Revival Co. using my trade discounts. You are welcome to purchase products on your own at the retail price.

If you would like to purchase an item from a retailer that offers trade discounts through which we don’t currently have an account, we would be happy to set one up if we are able.

For all design plans, 50 percent of the total cost is due upfront.  The remaining 50 percent of the total cost will be billed and is due upon delivery of the Design Plan.

For additional Styling Services, fees for hours worked will be billed on a monthly basis. The balance of fees for hours worked will be billed and is due when the project is complete.

Charges for any furniture, accessories, or materials purchased on your behalf will be billed upon purchase and payment is due within five days.

We accept payment via cash, credit, check or Venmo. All organization service fees and styling service fees are non-refundable.

Confidentiality is essential. We will not share details about your possessions, your home, or the discussions we have during our time together. With your permission, we would appreciate the opportunity to use project photos (without your name) in marketing materials.
