Throughout nearly 20 years working as a project manager in the corporate and non-profit worlds, I learned how to create and implement plans that meet goals and solve problems. I can do the same for you and your home.
The people who know me best say I think just a little bit differently and come up with ideas that never entered their minds. I’m the person they call when they just can’t figure out what to do and need advice.
My brain is wired to find better ways to do things and to make the world more beautiful. A former boss said my work had that extra “Kara flare.”
I have a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in business administration. I am a humble recipient of the Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award and the Neighborhood Pride Home Beautification Award.
I live in Kettering, Ohio with my amazing husband and two adorable young kids.
Organizing my home changed my life
I honestly didn’t know what my mission was. I just knew I couldn’t take it anymore – aggravated by the clutter, overwhelmed by the lack of order, and disappointed in myself. My home wasn’t in disarray, but the chaos was more than I could handle.
For two weeks, I furiously and ruthlessly purged and organized almost our entire house.
The sense of relief I felt was profound. My home was in order, and I felt revived inside. My mental and emotional capacity increased. My aggravation subsided. I felt more free.
It was the start of a transformation to consistently peel away what I don’t need or want.
And so The Revival Co. was born to help others experience this same sense of revival.
